Houses in southwest Edmonton offer buyers ample buying choices. Single family properties near the University and in Winderemere are the most expenses southwest Edmonton houses based on price per square foot.

Riverbend is another district which falls into the luxury home category. It is surrounded by river valleys, walking trails and features several bungalow style houses with large lots.

The most family focused areas to live in southwest Edmonton are Terwillegar and the Heritage Valley. These houses are newer dwellings created with the "15 minute city" concept. 

Properties near Southgate and Century Park are mostly mature bungalows with good-sized backyards. Several of these southwest Edmonton houses have been beutifully renovated and now awaiting a new family.
