Best places to live in Edmonton Alberta

Southwest Edmonton

Riverbend is a higher demographic income neighborhood. It offers ravine walking trails in the nearby natural woodland habitats, and quick access to the University of Alberta. Properties range from move-up to luxury and executive houses. Riverbend is the most desirable community to live in southwest Edmonton.

Terwillegar is the best places to live in for young families with easy access to the Leger transit terminal, recreation center and plenty of green spaces. The neighborhood is unique with simulated lined street of "San Francisco" Every house in Terwillegar has its own character. Most Terwillegar homes are constructed after 2000.

Bonnie Doon is a historic part of our city when an extension of a streetcar line in 1913 made real estate more attractive to elite buyers. Today, it is best known for its francophone community and the Mill Creek Ravine.

The Meadows feature recently built, starter to upper scale houses - a great place to live if you prefer to create your personalized landscaping and basements finishes. Builders include Parkwood Master, Crystal Creek, Pacesetter, and Impact.

Summerside properties are hot! Especially in the summertime with the close proximity to the lake and beachfront. It is also known for its reputable builders making this the best southeast Edmonton neighborhood to live in.

Southeast Edmonton

Northwest Edmonton

Griesbach is unlike any other Edmonton neighborhood. It is the original site of our Canadian national defense facility, developed in the 1950s and housed our military personnel. All houses here are constructed with high end reputable builders.

Big Lake is located south of St. Albert, between twin lakes and the Country Club. It is our city's best keep communities where new properties range from duplexes to exquisite luxury dwellings with walkout basements backing onto the golf course.

Both Griesbach and Big Lake are top choices to live in northwest Edmonton.

The Lake District is very popular with our military members. These are newer homes close to CFB Garrison - perfect for resale on your next postings. Several of these houses feature bonus rooms and walk out basements backing onto neighborhood lakes making this one of the best places to live in northeast Edmonton. 

Hermitage is a great place to start your real estate investing journey. It offers several starter homes and townhouses and is more affordable than other parts of the city, located near the Hermitage Park which offers boating, fishing, picnic.

Northeast Edmonton

West Edmonton

Wolf Willow homes are original dwellings with executive and luxury houses being the dominant real estate type. It is nestled between two natural lush green spaces, and in the heart of the community lays the Westridge Golf and Country Club.

Lewis Estates is best known for it's retirement community and the Lewis Estate golf course and country club. It is only five minutes to Costco, River Cree Resort Casino and West Edmonton Malland the Misericordia Hospital. If you are ready to retire and enjoy life, Lewis Estates is a top community to live in west Edmonton. 

Glenora homes are located near Royal Alberta Museum, and MacKinnon Ravine Park. This neighborhood has a high society reputation with one of our cities highest house values - no matter what the era with some houses dating back to the beginning of the nineteenth century.
