McQueen homes for sale were constructed between 1954 - 1956. It is named for the Reverend David George McQueen, who served 43 years as a minister at our First Presbyterian Church. Almost every McQueen real estate listing is a 1950s bungalow situated on oversized lots with back alley access. Next to High Park, these central northwest Edmonton bungalow-style dwellings usually have four to five bedrooms with a garage on a meticulously landscaped backyard which varies in size. A large portion of houses for sale in McQueen are rental properties. There are no condos in McQueen. Before being named, this area was called both Huff Estate and West Glenora. Most McQueen houses are still the original dwellings handed down from the last generation. Since the begining McQueen houses have always been high in demand which is still ongoing today due to it's fantastic location.
