Glastonbury is a west Edmonton neighbourhood with a largely family-oriented population and a relatively high rate of ownership in the Grange near Lewis Farms. The 2021 Census recorded about 4,029 residents, with approximately 18% under age 15 and 68.5% between 15 and 64. About 61.5% of residents aged 15 and older were married or living common-law. The community is also diverse, with about 30% of residents and Filipino, Chinese, South Asian and other cultural communities represented.
Glastonbury was developed primarily from the late 1990s through the 2000s, so its real estate stock is generally newer than many established Edmonton neighbourhoods. It is predominantly single-detached houses, with some low-rise apartments development, and a few bungalow style 55 plus retirement communities. About 77% of occupied dwellings were stand alone houses, with additional duplexes, townhouses and low-rise apartments. Property ownership is high, at roughly 86%. Its location near Whitemud Drive, Anthony Henday Drive, parks, schools and west Edmonton Mall.
