Houses in Dechene

Dechene homes for sale are still relatively new constructed from the early eighties to 2000. These far west Edmonton houses near Donsdale, will all be middle to upper-class homes, almost entirely with two-car front parking garages. Hawthorne Estate is the only Dechene condo. It was named after Joseph Miville Dechene, an entrepreneurial man who established a tobacco store, and later in his life, he became involved in Alberta politics. Dechene is within walking distance to the river valley in Gariepy and features a large community park and Good Shepherd Catholic School. Dechene houses offer buyers more of a financial option for this part of the west end. Although a bit older, Dechene houses are more affordable for this prime location with an average asking price between $450,000 - $550,000.
