The bulk of Britannia homes for sale were built in the 1950s and are exclusively northwest single family houses. Situated in central northwest Edmonton, Britannia Youngstown was originally two different subdivisions within the Town of Jasper Place and became part of our city in 1964. Britannia is a mature, affordable community near Grovenor bounded by 156 Street, and 107 Avenue. It has perfect little gems, great for investors or first-time buyers on quiet streets with large oversized lots. Other Britannia amenities are Westlawn Cemetary, Boys & Girls Club, and nearby Mayfield Common. Britannia houses used to be some of the cheapest in the city. However, after revatalization in parts of the nieghborhood, prices for Britannia houses range from $200,000 for an original home to over the million mark for a side by side duplex.
