Houses in Steinhauer

Steinhauer homes for sale are close to the Southgate LRT, University of Alberta and the Petrolia shopping center. Similar to other Century Park houses, Steinhauer real estate is also constructed in the seventies and offer a mix of row homes and stand-alone properties. Steinhauer houses are mainly large detached bungalows with front garages. Almost a quarter of real estate in this part of south Edmonton consists of townhouses.

Steinhauer is largely residential and the most common type of dwelling is the single family house. Follwed by several townhouses and row houses in Steinhauer. Until after 1970's, the Steinhauer neighborhood remained undeveloped. Residential real estate construction did not begin until 1971. Similiar to most communities at that time, Steinhauer has a curvilinear street pattern where blocks of residential land cluster around a centrally located school and park site.

Steinhauer has a small shopping plaza, but residents also have easy access to other retail and service outlets at the Southgate Shopping Centre which is just a 10-minute drive away. There are also several nearby amenities including the Ermineskin Shopping Centre and the Petrolia Mall in Greenfield.
