Southeast Edmonton is divided into two parts. South, southeast encompasses Orchards, Mill Woods and Meadows. Central southeast encompasses Bonnie Doon, Capilao and Mill Creek with plenty of parks, walking trails a few minutes from the downtown core.

Schools in southeast include a mix of public, private and catholic educational facilities plus Maurice-Lavallée, Conseil scolaire Centre-Nord francophone schools.

There are ample amenities in southeast Edmonton including recreatioanl facilties, river valley parks and south Edmonton common shopping district.
