About Northwest Edmonton Properties

Northwest Edmonton real estate consists of a mix of war-time houses, infill properties, ample bungalows and new builds in the far north west. It touches the edge of our municipality and offers its residents many nearby amenities. Real estate in the northwest is divided into seven main districts.

Big Lake is the newest part of northwest Edmonton and is surrounded by mother nature. This is a very sought after district and houses in Big Lake sell quickly. There are currently only a few amenities in this part of northwest the with plans to build more schools and a small shopping district.

Newcastle is located in far north-central. These northwest Edmonton homes for sale, houses and condominiums are fairly new and this neighborhood allows its residents quick access to St. Albert and the Henday. It is a ten minute communte to CFB Garrison, making it a perfect place to live for our military members.

The Grovenor and Calder districts are in central northwest. There are a mix of war-time houses and bungalows. Over the last decade, many of the older houses are now being replaced with duplexes and skinny homes. The Palisades is also located in central northwest Edmonton.
