Dechene homes for sale are still relatively new constructed from the early eighties to 2000. These far west Edmonton houses near Donsdale, will all be middle to upper-class homes, almost entirely with two-car front parking garages. Hawthorne Estate is the only Dechene condo. It was named after Joseph Miville Dechene, an entrepreneurial man who established a tobacco store, and later in his life, he became involved in Alberta politics. Dechene houses offer buyers more of a financial option for this part of the west end. Although a bit older, Dechene houses are more affordable for this prime location with an average asking price between $450,000 - $550,000.
