Jasper Place Real Estate

Homes for sale in Jasper Place are located a few minutes from the downtown core. This area was once West Edmonton and is now situated in the northwest due to the city expansion. Jasper Place communities include Britannia, Youngstown, Canora, Grovenor, High Park, Mayfield, and McQueen. It is best known for the entertaining Mayfield Dinner Theatre, Archbishop MacDonald Catholic High School, and the Edmonton Christian West Schools. 

Like other mature areas of northwest Edmonton, Jasper Place homes for sale offer a wide range of properties to choose from: apartment condominiums, townhouses, duplexes, and single-family detached houses. The majority of half-duplexes were constructed in the late seventies in Canora. Although there are a few newer duplexes in Grovenor.

Similar to Meadowlark, a vast majority of Jasper Place houses for sale will be constructed in the fifties and sixties. These dwellings are usually bungalow and split-level styles with double oversized detached garages. Although, in this part of northwest Edmonton, there are a few hidden gems, like an original cabin backing onto MacKinnon Ravine that was architecturally reinvented with Japanese garden influences.
