Belgravia MLS® Listings - Houses, Duplexes, Townhouses
Belgravia owes its existence to the vision of Richard Grosvenor, the 2nd Marquess of Westminster. In the 1820s, he sought to develop the extensive marshland and fields on his London estate into an upscale residential area. The only townhouses in Belgravia are located in Grand Scala. There are a few great investment duplexes steps away from the university with infill duplexes containing separate entrances and rough-ins for future suite development next to the Belgravia LRT.
This district in south central Edmonton consists of the Windsor Park, Belgravia, Grandview Heights, and Lansdowne neighborhoods. Residential real estate here is 90% single-family dwellings. Grandview Heights was built on land that had been owned in the 1880s by a family named McCauley.
Lansdowne overlooks the Whitemud Creek Ravine near Snow Valley Ski Hill, and Windsor Park is located immediately to the west of the University of Alberta's north campus and overlooks the North Saskatchewan River valley a few minutes from Royal Glenora and Victoria golf courses.
Similar to Crestwood and Wolf Willow, properties in Belgravia are upscale and elite dwellings. The least expensive houses start at $500,000 for an original, well-maintained bungalow. Upgraded houses for sale in Belgravia range from $700,000 and higher. The average price for a home in part of South Central Edmonton is just above the one million mark. Some of these executive houses overlook the downtown skyline with rooftop terraces nestled on large lots in natural settings with meticulous attention to architectural designs.
