St. Albert is northwest of Alberta's capital city and is now the second-largest city in the Edmonton Metropolitan Region. A historical focal point in St. Albert is the Father Lacombe chapel on Mission Hill. There are also two historic grain elevators in St. Albert. One constructed in 1906 by the Brackman-Ker Milling Company, the other was built later in 1929 by The Alberta Wheat Pool company.
