About Southeast Edmonton Properties

Southeast Edmonton is divided into four main districts by industrial real estate and Anthony Henday. It is one of the city’s most diverse areas and is known for its wide range of property choices. These areas are Mill Woods, Mill Creek, The Orchards, and The Meadows. 

Mill Woods in zone 29 is the most affordable place to find southeast Edmonton homes for sale. This is a great location to start your real estate investment journey, with several condominiums under $200,000 and townhouses constructed in the 1970s and 1980s. The Grey Nuns Hospital, an 18-hole golf course, and the Mill Woods Recreation Centre with a 45-meter wave pool, waterslides, a whirlpool, a dive tank, and racquet courts.

The Mill Creek area has the highest demand for homes for sale in southeast Edmonton. These properties, if priced accordingly, are sold within days, usually above asking price. Real estate consists of everything from recently built houses and duplexes to mature bungalows on large lots with triple-car garages. Nearby amenities are, of course, the Mill Creek Ravine and outdoor swimming pool, Bonnie Doon Mall, and the Strathearn Park Lookout tourist attraction.
