Alberta Homes North of Edmonton
Redwater: Alberta Properties north of Edmonton
Redwater Alberta was originally first settled with Ukrainian decent settlers followed by English and French in the early nineteenth century. In 1950, it was incorporated as a town. Redwater is known for some of Alberta's best farming soil, the geographical features of Sturgeon River, a nine-hole golf course with grass greens, its popular ATV trails and the world's largest oil derrick.
During the last real estate boom in Alberta, there were ample jobs in sandhills and supported thriving silica sand and gravel industry. Redwater homes at this time were in high demand. Once the real estate market crashed in July 2007, Redwater house values dropped overnight and still, today has not increased back to demand house prices.
