Pilot Sound Houses, Homes & Real Estate

Pilot Sound is a residential district in the northeast portion of the city established in 1981 through Edmonton City Council's adoption of the Pilot Sound Area Structure Plan. Pilot Sound Communities

Brintnell is located along 167 Avenue, 50 Street and Manning Drive in Pilot Sound. Real estate development in this part of our city happened after the turn of the century with several of the houses constructed during the last real estate boom. Brintnell properties are smaller houses and backyards perfect for our military members, only a fifteen-minute commute to CFB Garrison.


Cy Becker is one of Pilot Sound newest neighbourhoods in north Edmonton and offers a large choice of newer duplexes, detached houses and new builds. It is located along 167 Avenue, 50 Street and Manning Drive. Most Cy Becker and Pilot Sound homes for sale will consist of RPL and zero lot lines.


Hollick Kenyon is still relatively young with houses constructed in the late 1990s and early 2000s. There is currently a new housing pocket in this part of Pilot Sound. and features a large lake and green spaces.


Matt Berry is similar to its neighbour, Hollick Kenyon featuring larger two-story houses. Most Matt Berry houses were built at the turn of the century and continued into the 2000s with the focus on detached houses. Real estate was constructed with high family values and here you will find the Edmonton Christian Northeast School and Centre Point Community Christian Reformed Church.


McConachie features are newer Pilot Sound properties located in the far northeast portion of the city. This community is very popular with our DND and Military members with both the short commute to CFB Garrison and the benefit of owning a newer home, making it easier for resale. There are a variety of residential options focused on middle to upper-class properties, front-attached lane and bungalow townhomes.

Relocating to Pilot Sound

Located in north Edmonton, Pilot Sound is bordered by 66 Street, 153 Avenue, and Anthony Henday Drive. It is bisected by 50 Street and Manning Drive. Homes for sale in Pilot Sound are only minutes from CFB Garrison.


The main attraction in Pilot Sound is Manning Town Shopping Centre. There are several other amenities and attractions within a few minutes of driving including the Clareview LRT, EXPO Centre, River Valley Hermitage, and the Highlands Golf Club.


Pilot Sound attracts several of our military members with close proximity to the Garrison. Real Estate construction started near the turn of the twenty-first century and the average house price is $425,000. Both Cy Becker and McConachie offer new builds for sale. This is a great place to buy a home for resale purposes in the near future.
