It is in close proximity to New Castle shopping strip mall, Castle Downs Recreation Facility, and a naturalized water pond.

It is a few minutes from the Castle Downs family recreation and major amenities at the large Pembina strip mall north of 137 Avenue.


Communities in the Palisades are Albany, Carlton, Cumberland, Oxford, Pembina, and Hudson which was once home to a drive-in theatre, driving range, and an international speedway.
