Heritage Valley Communities

Heritage Valley homes for sale are located in the central portion of southwest Edmonton, south of Ellerslie Road between Gateway Boulevard and 170 Street. The Heritage Valley encompasses a large portion of the south. There are several attractions in the southwest Edmonton Heritage Valley area including Jagare Ridge Golf Club, the Glenridding Ravine, Chappelle Gardens, and the Full House Lottery Dream Homes. It is also minutes from the international airport.


Homes for sale in the Heritage Valley are newer properties and many are still under construction. Builders include Daytona, Flourish, Brookfield Residential, Sterling, Bedrock, Silver Point, and Blackmud Communities Inc. The average price for a single-family house is just under $500,000.


Paisley is a new residential district in the southwest Edmonton Heritage Valley area near the luxury community of Hays Ridge. Paisley homes for sale are very affordable and range from move-up middle-class houses to several choices of townhouse-style condominiums and duplexes.

Cavanagh is south of the beautiful Blackmud Creek ravine, bounded by 30 Avenue SW and James Mowatt Trail. House prices in this part of the Heritage Valley vary and are based more on the quality of the builder as opposed to the square footage of these homes.


Bordered by Callaghan and James Mowatt Trail, south of Ellerslie, Allard features newer duplexes and new builds ranging from upper-scale and luxury houses to apartment-style condominiums. Callaghan is a newer real estate development, south of the sought-after community. Detached houses consist of a more elite premier and luxury style of Callaghan residential real estate. There are several mosaic townhouses in Callaghan with double attached garages and open concept floor plans steps away from all major amenities.


Graydon Hill is a popular residential community in the Heritage Valley. The majority of Graydon Hill residential real estate are two-story houses featuring attached and detached garages built within the last few years. The architectural guidelines for this community use natural elements such as stone, wood, and timber details to achieve a uniquely alpine look throughout this part of the Heritage Valley.


Rutherford homes for sale are surrounded by an extensive pedestrian walking trail and green spaces. These great properties are a mix of large duplexes, newer two-story houses, and newer low-rise condos. The majority of residential real estate in Rutherford are single-family dwellings and duplexes.


Richford is a wealthy diverse community bounded by Ellerslie Road and 111 Street in the south between Blackburne and Blackmud Creek. Real Estate construction in this part of our city began after the turn of the twentieth century and features move-up and luxury houses.


MacEwan situated near Rutherford is a large community between Richford and Graydon Hill. MacEwan consists of newer, affordable properties and features several first-time buyer houses and bungalow-style duplexes with attached garages.


Blackmud Creek features a range of residential real estate from duplex properties to luxury houses, constructed after the turn of the century. The majority of these are newer, middle to upper-scale detached dwellings. Duplexes account for only seven percent of the properties. Blackburne is beside Kaskitayo in southwest Edmonton near Rutherford, bounded by Ellerslie Road and 111 Street. Similar to Blackmud Creek, many Blackburne, and Heritage Valley homes for sale back onto one of the cities most popular ravines and feature private backyard settings.
