The Grange is located in far West Edmonton, south of the Whitemud across from Lewis Estates. There are plenty of things to do in this part of West Edmonton with a large shopping district along Guardian Road including a new Costco. It is minutes away from West Edmonton Mall, a popular golf course and the River Cree casino. The Grange consists of three communities including Glastonbury, Granville and the Hamptons.


Almost every Grange house is a two-story with double attached garages build near the turn of the century. Living here is a popular choice for young families, and offers several affordable duplexes and move-up houses. It is bounded by 215 Street (Winterburn Road) to the west, Lessard Road to the south, Anthony Henday, and Whitemud Drive. The Enoch Cree Indian Reserve is located beyond 215 Street to the west within Parkland County, while the luxury Edgemont community is located to the south. Meadowlark homes are across Anthony Henday and to the east is Lewis Estates.


Living in the Grange offers a sense of community and a small, modern town feeling. Grange real estate ranges from mid-rise condominiums, newer duplex starter homes to a few luxury properties. When first built, it was so high in demand, creating a shortage of schools for all of the young families who moved in. Today, this concern has been rectified with three more schools.
