This is a popular area for the younger generation who choose to relocate to our great city. The francophone town of Beaumont with a historical french farming community is located nearby.

If you prefer more of a quiet lifestyle away from the rest of the city, Big Lakes in northwest Edmonton is a great place to relocate and live. It is a few minutes from the city of St. Albert - another favourite relocation destination. This area is home to TELUS World of Science with an IMAX cinema. Castle Downs recreation centre and Lois Hole Centennial Provincial Park.

Many of our military members who are posted and must relocate move to this part of our city due to the proximity of CFB Garrison. The northeast also encompasses our downtown core. There are plenty of family things to do here from visiting Rundle Park to walking and biking on trails loop and tobogganing hills.

Moving to Edmonton and not sure where to live? Relocating to West Edmonton offers plenty of choices from historical semi bungalows to infills to new builds in our newest Riverview community. West Edmonton is most famous for the large shopping mall. There is also a great golf course in Lewis Estates and the River Cree Casino.
